GROBP members and their founder seek PUBLIC SERVANTS to RUN AND WIN ELECTIONS at any level of government in the USA,
NOT,
Politicians/Political Parties D+R PLUNDERING THE PEOPLE/SYSTEM for as much personal/party gains($$$$$$$$$$$) as they can fleece before their 2-4 year term ends.

- To have ALL USA ELECTIONS (Fed/State/County/Township/City) be conducted in a
NON-PARTISAN setting, no (D) or (R) parties, candidates are independent.
- The goal is to eliminate our antiquated "2 party system" and allow candidates to run on their name and ideas that reflect their constituent base, not a "party platform".
NOT
- An (-R) or (-D) attached after their name – only the area they represent.
- I will only accept membership $$$ from USA addresses (if you are a citizen traveling abroad, you may be asked to verify your citizenship). This will prevent any foreigners from having a say in cleaning up the mess we created ourselves.
- Because our current two-party system is broken, and the only way to fix it is to eliminate it. Think about it: Two teams (Dems and Repubs) get to “stay in the game.” No matter how incompetent the teams are, they keep returning to the contest in 2 to 4 years anyway. Another analogy would be going to a 16-team tournament and watching the same two teams play each other the first round, second round, third round and finals, no matter who wins or loses, while 14 other teams get to sit in the stands and watch them play forever. Take a guess how many leaders we have missed that HAD to sit in the stands all these elections.
- This is not a personal attack on any Republican or Democrat that is in office now or has previously served. Many of my friends are members of either party. My goal is to change the system, the way we elect our leaders. But I believe the time has come where both parties know they’re going to get their bread buttered because, unlike other contests, NO PARTY EVER LOSES. They will gain power back in the next election cycle, and it goes back and forth. Look at history.
- The current system “dumbs down” the USA . When you go to buy a car or house, do you say: “Let’s look at only two cars?” or “Let’s go see only two houses?” No, we don’t do that. So why not use that same logic when electing officials (the ones that spend our dollars wisely or unwisely, mostly the latter)?
- The current system discriminates against independent candidates participating in elections. Under the current petition system to be eligible to run for office, Dems and Repubs are held to a much smaller percentage of past election votes garnered on petitions than independents. We need to give anyone who wants to work at collecting petition signatures the chance to run for office. Then we’ll get: The brightest our country has to offer, the greatest potential for choosing from more than 2, the leadership we deserve, and more honest individuals who are committed to integrity in government
- As GROBP.com membership grows from state to state, city to city, county to county, township to township, our enrollment numbers will overtake the winning vote totals of the last office-holder election (i.e. John Doe, a Repub from Peoria , won his last election for mayor with 10,500 votes. When GROBP.com membership in Peoria reaches 10,600, we will suggest to Mayor Doe that he make a motion to have all future municipal elections be non-partisan. From my experience in running elections, it’s all about the math -- one vote more than your opponent is a win.)
- The way things currently run in elections, as far as corporate donations and lobbyists go, is this: The Corporation/Lobbyist will give $1,000 to John Doe-(R) and will give $1,000 to his opponent, Jane Doe-(D). This is the classic CYA (cover your ass) principle that is used with most candidates in our country. With open , non-partisan elections and several candidates running, they will be hard-pressed to know which way to throw the money. Corporations/lobbyists won’t know what horse to bet on. Let’s go back to the old days when, say, the president of GM needed a favor from the state of Michigan and he just picked up the phone and called the governor to discuss a business issue. This is the way business should be done. If corporations need a favor from a public body, they should go directly to the source. Not hire some lawyer to badger our public servants.
